Ice Conditions on Red Lake

Yeah, the docks at Sunset Lodge are still a bit of a mess but look ma! No Ice! What a difference a day can make. Went to take a look off of Forestry Point - there are still a couple of ice flows on the main lake but they are pushed to the north shores. If the wind keeps up overnight that should take care of them. If you are headed up for opening weekend best check the long term weather forecast - lows for Red Lake area are still dipping down might want to bring some woollies. Bait came in this morning so we are ready for anyone who has the urge to "drown a minnow". Northern fishing is gonna be awesome!
