Red Lake Walleye Season
Yes, the walleye fishing season opener is this weekend and bets are on as to when the ice will be out. Once again, it is going to be a nail biter as to the exact date the ice will leave. We have had a couple of excellent days - Mother Nature is finally cooperating! Sunset Bay is developing a nice walleye chop! Skookum Bay went out last weekend and Red Lake usually follows a week to 10 days. Temps in the high 60's next few days.

Hi Rene and Adelle,
Hope the ice is out. Ed and Chris left this morning for your place and should be there Thurs am. I'm sad that Greg won't be there this year and I know all the guys will miss him. Hope your'e all healthy and happy.
