Art sent us this photo of the Muskie that he latched on to on the waters of Red Lake. At Sunset Lodge, fishermen have regularly reported catching the occasional Muskie while casting for northern pike - usually in the vicinity of St. Paul's Bay. When we reported a tagged muskie to the MNR, this helped to confirm their theory that during periods of high water, Muskie navigate to Red Lake through the river system from Flat and Russet Lakes.Art caught his Muskie on a Johnson Silver Minnow off one of the islands in August of 07. This beauty Muskie measured in at 42 inches!
