Winter at Sunset Lodge

Well you asked - If you are headed up the driveway at Sunset Lodge, this is what it looks like in winter. We have some pretty high drifts and hope that Ma Nature gave us the last snow fall for the season this past week. Tonight we are have a huge bonfire - Remember all the trees marked with orange flag tape? That becomes next season's firewood and the brush pile gives us northerners a chance to haul out the smokies and s'mores (possibly a soda too!). More next week. Have a great weekend!

The Results - Wilfer Party fishing Red Lake

I guess a picture is worth a thousand words, but when the Wilfer party visited Sunset Lodge on Red Lake in June of '08, they wanted to be sure that no one in the party forgot who landed on top for the week. As it turns out, Rob landed the largest Northern of the week at 40" and Paul & Jim tied for top Walleye at 27". Check out more photos from their trip at the Sunset Lodge gallery.
